The Audio Engineering Society

It’s not a bad time to mention that I’ve joined the Audio Engineering Society as an associate or affiliate or whatever the “I’m not an engineer or scientist” level is called. I was researching audio principles about a year ago, and I kept finding AES papers behind a paywall. Now, I’m OK with paywalls – everybody has got to get paid – so I joined up. Sure, there’s a lot of these papers with a lot of math which I’m not going to go back and try to learn, but even so, there is a lot open and available and useful to AES associate-affiliate-somethingsomethings.
